Information

Aston Manor's batting looks strong enough, but they are desperately short of experienced bowling at Birmingham League level. As well as losing Julius Benjamin and Ateeq Javed, Neil Coley has rejoined Knowle and Dorridge and Phil Jefferies has moved to Kings Heath. With Jon Meacham currently unavailable and Waheed Hussain in Pakistan the Church Road club have none of their first choice 2009 bowling attack available to take on Cannock on May 2nd.

The club will continue to persue all avenues to improve their bowling options, but meanwhile Aston Manor will have to rely heavily on Viljoen, Ansari and Illyas plus last seasons 2nd XI attack.
